Cafè Europa | A Europe to live in

Register for the event.

On 30 May, from 9 to 10 a.m., we are back with a new 'Cafè Europa' to focus on one of the great social challenges of our time with the collaboration of the PEMB: we are talking about access to housing in the EU.

The housing crisis is hitting hard across Europe, especially in Mediterranean cities. Against a backdrop of rising prices and a lack of affordable supply, a coordinated response combining political ambition, innovation and social commitment is needed. What common agenda can the European Union advance? And how does it connect with the transformative initiatives that are already underway in the territory?

We will talk to Vicent Marzà i Ibáñez, MEP for the Greens/EFA and vice-president of the Special Committee on the Housing Crisis in the European Parliament, and Luisa F. Pinto Rodríguez, lawyer specialised in urban law and territorial planning, collaborator of the PEMB and promoter of participatory processes in the field of housing.
